Renzo Torrenga, M.S., Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, CH

Renzo L. Torrenga is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and NGH Certified Hypnotherapist. His professional affiliations include The American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Guild of Hypnotists, and PSI- CHI (National Honors Society in Psychology!)
Renzo earned his Master’s of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Psychological Studies. In addition to his private practice at Integrative Counseling & Hypnosis Associates, Renzo is an outpatient therapist with a non-profit agency in Broward County helping youth who are involved with substance abuse, co-occurring disorders and behavioral issues.  Renzo completed his practicum for his Master’s degree at a residential youth shelter providing therapy to adolescents who were experiencing behavioral difficulties.  Family members were involved in the therapeutic process to facilitate reconciliation as their teen’s behavior was modified positively.  As a result, Renzo gained a great deal of experience working with adolescents and their families.  He has had great success in building rapport and having a strong working alliance with adolescents.  Renzo also works with adults as his experience has provided him the gift of working with diverse populations and effectively helping people from all walks of life.  Renzo is originally from Peru and is fluent in English and Spanish and is culturally diverse.
