Melody Smith, PhD is a Doctor of Clinical Sexology, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Psychotherapist, Florida approved Supervisor of Mental Health Counselor Interns, Nationally Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Instructor of  Hypnosis, Author, Motivational Speaker, former Radio Talk Show Host, and Founder of Integrative Counseling & Hypnosis Associates, a private holistic Centre for Personal Empowerment in Boca Raton, FL.

As a humanistic psychotherapist, Melody combines traditional psychological theories with innovative therapies to bring about relief from depression, phobias, anxiety or unwanted behaviors. She is focused on helping her clients improve their communication skills and increase their self esteem.  The central theme of Dr. Smith’s practice is helping people identify their gifts and reach their highest and best potential. Additionally, she has extensive experience helping individuals and couples develop intimacy and create healthy, satisfying, and joyful sexual lives.

As the host of the popular radio program on WBZT: 1230 AM entitled “Creating Harmony with Melody” Dr. Smith demystified alternative therapies and introduced her listeners to talented and caring professionals who specialize in enhancing physical, emotional, and spiritual well being.

Dr. Smith is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Sexology, a Diplomate and Board Certified Professional Counselor with the American Psychotherapy Association, a member in good standing of the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the Association for Humanistic Psychology, AASECT, and the National Guild of Hypnotists. She received her PhD from The American Academy of Clinical Sexologists and her Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Psychological Studies. Melody has worked extensively with survivors of domestic abuse. Dr. Smith enjoys helping individuals, couples, families and children overcome relational issues to improve their lives.
